I Recently stumbled across this blog post from BOSS Snowplow from back in 2012. This is all good information from their team regarding plow trucks and overheating. Heck, it's been an ongoing issue in the industry for decades. BOSS even goes so far as to include 'guidelines', 'best-practices', 'warnings' and the such in the documentation you receive when you purchase a new plow. And not to single out BOSS, because I believe the other major players in the industry broadcast the same information. Basically, the short story is....DO NOT travel over 35 mph with your plow and keep the snow plow down and angled to prevent overheating. Well, that is all good information, but, that was before PlowFlowmaster™
Now, when I see this information still out there on the web, and many people we talk to are still under the impression that this is just an inherent problem that is unsolvable, and I'm thinking to myself...'I think it's time we rethink this whole thing'. Our products solve this in a universal fashion with all plow manufacturers. No more expensive radiator kits, upgraded clutch fans, and other expensive mechanical repairs. Our solution is a simple snow plow accessory that works right on top of your plow. It's low profile, built really well (it takes a serious beating), and honestly, looks pretty cool if you ask me!
So I'm thinking, is the industry ready for our product? Will they accept our product and its unequivocal proof that it works (backed scientifically) and finally toss these old warnings and finally say...'Hey! we recommend PlowFlowmaster Air Deflectors™ and feel free to drive over 35 mph) We hope so. We think it's time. But, the only real way the 'Industry' will accept it and adapt, is if customers (plow operators, owners, mechanics) finally fed up with this issue take the first step and move forward into the future. No more old ways of thinking.
Those customers of ours that have already seen the light, thank you...
